Rehabilitation of Zemo Samgori irrigation scheme
More than 1000 ha of agricultural land area of three villages will be supplied with irrigation water in Gardabani municipality, as a result of rehabilitation works of the main canal of Zemo Samgori irrigation scheme.
Within the project 7 km long section of the main canal will be restored. Rehabilitation with total cost of GEL 512 000 has been initiated in April and will be completed in December of the current year.
Since 2012, 18 rehabilitation projects of amelioration infrastructure have been completed in Kvemo Kartli region. As of today, 27 rehabilitation projects of amelioration infrastructure are in progress throughout the country, including 7 in the region.
