Irrigation water in the village Ergneti
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Agriculture is implementing rehabilitation works on 2 km long section of the main canal of Tiriponi irrigation scheme, on the territory of the village Ergneti, Gori municipality. After completion of the works, 40 ha of agricultural land area will be supplied with irrigation water in the village Ergneti, since June of the current year.
For the last 3 years, as a result of rehabilitation works undertaken in Shida Kartli region, water supplied area has been increased from 11 0000 ha up to 18 700 ha.
As of today, 27 rehabilitation projects of amelioration infrastructure are in progress all over the country.
