Information campaign –modern irrigation methods -Tskaltubo
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Agriculture implements project for facilitation to the expansion of modern irrigation methods. Within the project information campaign is held all over the country.
Another meeting of the information campaign was held in Tskaltubo municipality. Representatives of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd made a presentation for water users on drip and sprinkler irrigation methods and their advantages.
Drip and sprinkler irrigation methods are much more profitable than the traditional flooding method, as they require twice as little el. energy, water and fertilizers and significantly increase yield.
Zurab Kuchava- West Region Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd attended the meeting, which proceeded in the question-answer regime.
