The General Director of "Georgian Amelioration" LTD inspected amelioration infrastructural facilities in the West.
Otar Shamugia got acquainted with current and completed amelioration projects; Inspected headworks of rehabilitated irrigation systems of Ajameti and Mashveli.
He visited Ozurgeti and Abasha municipalities, where the rehabilitation works of Merekrdzela-Kaprovani and Anjeli massive drainage systems are underway.
Ongoing rehabilitation works of water diverting pipe on the section of 4 km stretch of the main chanal in Guria will protect the land area of 640 hectares from water excess in Natanebi, while as a result of works in Anjeli massive, the population will be able to use additional drainage service on 500 hectares of agricultural land.
The General Director, together with company representatives, discussed future plans and projects that will be implemented in Western Georgia in the nearest future.
