Archil Bukia-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd met with the World Bank representatives. Within the framework of the meeting the parties discussed: technical and institutional issues of Drainage Strategy for Georgia; screening of amelioration schemes to be selected for future rehabilitation; creation of Water Users Support Unit in the company in order to facilitate to the establishment of WUAs, as well as implementation of various arrangements for their institutional strengthening, including study tours, creation of electronic platform and etc.
