Head of Kvemo Kartli regional office got familiar with the irrigation season
David Kikolashvili-Head of Kvemo Kartli regional office of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Agriculture has inspected irrigation canals in Gardabani municipality and met with local population. The existing situation on the irrigation schemes and the progress of irrigation season has been discussed at the meeting. David Kikolashvili informed the locals about functioning of the regional headquarters and available hot line number 15 01, in order to ensure maximal prompt solution of any irrigation process related issue.
Since 2012, 27 rehabilitation projects of amelioration infrastructure have been implemented in Kvemo Kartli region. Consequently, water supplied agricultural land area has increased up to 46 255 ha.
