Archil Bukia met with the residents of Sartichala
Archil Bukia-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Agriculture has inspected irrigation canals in Sartichala and met with the local population.
The discussion covered the existing situation on the irrigation canals and the progress of irrigation season. Archil Bukia provided the local with the information on creation of regional headquarters and launch of hotline 15 01, for ensuring maximal operational solution of irrigation season-related issues.
Since 2012, 27 rehabilitation projects of amelioration infrastructure have been implemented in Kvemo Kartli region. Consequently, agricultural land area has increased up to 46 255 ha.
