Archil Bukia discussed the issues on irrigation service improvement with the population of the villages Ditsi, Arbo and Korda
Archil Bukia-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd, together with Kakha Samkharadze –Governor of Shida Kartli region has met with the population of the villages Ditsi, Arbo and Korda, in Gori municipality and discussed the issues on irrigation service improvement.
In order to regulate and ensure uninterrupted water supply to the population of the aforementioned villages, Arbo-Ditsi pumping station will work in 24 hour regime, with 3 pumps switched. Furthermore, the local population is required to follow the schedule on water use for ensuring equal distribution of water over the areas of the three villages.
Land plots of the village Ditsi used to be irrigated by Kekhvi-Vanati irrigation scheme, situated on the occupied territory. Nowadays water is supplied to the village by pumping irrigation method, through Arbo-Ditsi pumping station installed on the River Patara Liakhvi. In order to increase its capacity, an additional pumping aggregate has been installed in 2017
