Archil Bukia arranged meeting in Shida Kartli regional administration
Archil Bukia-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd spoke about ongoing structural reforms at the meeting held in Gori. Representatives of the Company regional office and local authorities attended the meeting.
According to Archil Bukia, significant changes are carried out in the company with regard to decentralization of responsibilities that will lead to the increase of functions of service centers and consequently improvement of customers’ service quality. Simultaneously, monitoring system will be enhanced, enabling detection of illegal use of irrigation water more effective and operational.
It was mentioned at the meeting that “Georgian Amelioration” ltd will continue working in emergency regime due to the fact that irrigation season enters the active phase. By the decision of the Company management, coordination headquarters will be created in the regions to coordinate irrigation process. Comprehensive information will be gathered in the headquarters, enabling after elaboration and analysis to make operational decision on irrigation water distribution and efficient use.
