Visit of General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd in Samtskhe-Javakheti
Otar Shamugia-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd has visited Ninotsminda, Akhalkalaki and Aspindza municipalities, where he’s inspected ameliorative infrastructural items and met with local population.
Nowadays, rehabilitation works are underway on five ameliorative infrastructural items in Samtskhe-Javakheti. Major part of the works envisage rehabilitation of headworks of irrigation schemes and restoration of damaged sections of main canals.
After completion of the project, additional 1315 ha of agricultural land area in Ninotsminda municipality shall be irrigated, while supply of irrigation water shall be improved on 1400 ha.
