Rehabilitation of drainage schemes in Guria
Levan Dvali -Director of United Amelioration Systems Company of Georgia and representatives of the company had a meeting with Governor of Guria - George Chkhaidze. The parties discussed existing problems on drainage schemes and scheduled projects that the company will implement with regard to the problems solution. After the meeting, the Company Director together with the Governor inspected ongoing rehabilitation works of “Mtisdziri” canal, located in the village Lesa, Lanchkhuti municipality.
As Levan Dvali mentioned, rehabilitation-restoration of design capacity of levelled reaches of the Pichora River (water inlet and linking pipe) and attached structures, as well as of main linking pipes, attached hydro-technical structures and pumping station of Merekrdzela-Kaprovani (Shekvetili) massif is scheduled in 2015.
Arrangement of the aforementioned schemes will significantly improve economical condition of local population.
