Visit of General Director of “Georgian Amelioration “ltd in Kvemo Kartli
General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd visited Kvemo Kartli.
Otar Shamugia got acquainted with amelioration schemes and infrastructural items in Bolnisi and Tetritskaro municipalities and discussed preparation works for the next irrigation season together with the representatives of regional offices.
General Director and employees of the respective offices spoke about the issues required for proper operation of infrastructural items.
As of today, total of 7 rehabilitation projects of amelioration infrastructure are in progress in Kvemo Kartli region.
As a result of the works carried out, 1 200 ha of agricultural land area shall be irrigated in the region, while irrigation water supply shall be improved on 2 931 ha.
