Rehabilitation of Zemo Samgori irrigation system is ongoing
In Gardabani municipality repair works of Zemo Samgori irrigation system are ongoing.
The damaged sections of the main canal are being changed.
Rehabilitation works are being implemented by “Georgian Amelioration” LTD of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.

11 amelioration infrastructure projects are ongoing in the region. After completion of works irrigation water supply will be improved at 6 766 hectares and, in addition, 1 600 hectares of agricultural land area will be irrigated.
