Rehabilitation of Amelioration infrastructure in Sartichala
In the village of Sartichala, Gardabani municipality Zemo Samgori irrigation system is being rehabilitated. Repair works are going on the main distribution channel G-7; The monolithic reinforced concrete rectangular channel will be arranged, the water intake units and parabolic chutes are installed, and the motor bridge is also installed.
As a result of Amelioration system rehabilitation, the population of the village Sartichala will irrigate 1200 ha of agriculture land.
The project is implemented by ,,Georgian Amelioration” Ltd under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
Repair works will be finished in September 2018.
As of present, 11 rehabilitation projects are being implemented in Kvemo Kartli. As a result of the works carried out the water supply regime will be improved on 15 817 ha and the regular irrigable land will be increased by 3280 ha.
