At the Ministry of Agriculture, projects on Amelioration Systems were discussed
The Director of United Amelioration Systems Company of Georgia, Mr. Levan Dvali made a presentation regarding the ongoing and planned projects of Irrigation and Drainage Systems.
Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia Mr. Otar Danelia, Deputy Ministers and the representatives of territorial Unites of Georgia were presented at the meeting. Mr. Levan Dvali informed the auditorium regarding the existing situation and problematic issues in the sector. He also presented Companies Action Plan for the year 2015 and spoke as well about the development of the sector by the period of 2018.
At the meeting parties agreed to conduct regular interactive meetings with representatives of the Company and Representatives of the Regions in order to reconcile and correct future plans according to priorities.
At the meeting it was agreed that, selection of each project according to regions will be decided individually.
Currently, United Amelioration Systems Company of Georgia is implementing Rehabilitation Projects in 35 sites of Georgia.
