With regard to World Water Day, representatives of regional office of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd and pupils of Duisi public school visited headworks of Zemo Alazani irrigation scheme in the village Duisi, Pankisi Canyon.
Aleksandre Kirvalidze –Head of Kakheti regional office of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd and Mikheil Arindauli- Chief Engineer showed the pupils around the headworks of Zemo Alazani irrigation scheme, introduced them with the specifics of amelioration scheme operation and modern irrigation methods facilitating to rational use of water resources.
Together with the employees of “Georgian Amelioration” ltd, the pupils painted bridge and equipment of hydraulic structures, as well as cleaned the slopes of Zemo Alazani irrigation canal, adjacent territory and dendrologic park at the headworks.
