Working meeting with Kvemo Kartli region Leadership
David Kikolashvili, Head of Kvemo Kartli Regional Office of the ,,Georgian Amelioration” Ltd held a meeting with the State Representative-Governer of Kvemo Kartli Grigol Nemsadze, which was attended by the First Deputy of the Governor Aleksandre Metreveli and the Mayors of Municipalities.
During the meeting was discussed the existing situation on irrigation systems and implemented and ongoing projects in the region. The Head of the Regional Office provided with the information to local government representatives about planned rehabilitation projects and exploitation measures on the amelioration infrastructure in the region, which will be implemented in the nearest future by the ,,Georgian Amelioration”.
Implementation of the mentioned projects will be solve and further improve provision of water for one-year and perennial crops. Accordingly, the average vegetative yield will be increased.
Representatives of local authorities shared their opinions about the planned projects and expressed readiness to facilitate the successful implementation of the work within their competence.
