Meeting with KFW
Levan Dvali -Director of United Amelioration Systems Company of Georgia met with Lars Oermen - South Caucasus Regional Office Director of KFW (German Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
The meeting was introductory, where future cooperation plans and prospects were discussed. The meeting was initiated by KFW. German side expressed interest towards development of Agriculture of Georgia, since the Government of Georgia recognized this field as a priority and allocated considerable funds from the state budget.
KFW will make final decision in regard with funding of amelioration schemes of Georgia by 2015, after getting acquainted with the details of arrangements scheduled by the company.
Levan Dvali –Company Director introduced Lars Oermen with existing problems on the schemes, ongoing and scheduled projects.
Representatives of United Amelioration Systems Company also attended the meeting.
