Rehabilitation works of Tezi-Okami irrigation scheme in Kaspi municipality are underway
Ministry of Agriculture and United Amelioration Systems Company of Georgia continue rehabilitation of irrigation schemes.
Anti-leakage arrangements on the reach of main canal of Tezi-Okami irrigation system are being carried out in Kaspi municipality, Shida Kartli region. The canal will be lined with cast-in situ concrete.
As a result of rehabilitation works water supply will be improved on around 2000 ha of land area in four villages of Shida Kartli region: Okami, Igoeti, Samtavisi, Agaiani.
United Amelioration Systems Company of Georgia implements rehabilitation works on 6 different items in Shida Kartli, including Tiriponi, Chala Canal, Sasireti Canal, Chocheti Canal and Tezi-Okami irrigation schemes.
