Working meeting in Tetritskaro municipality
The project envisages restoration of instrumental monitoring system of Algeti reservoir and rehabilitation of Khaishi and Marabda linking pipelines. With regard to project implementation, a working meeting was held in Tetritskaro municipality. Problems that exist on irrigation schemes, ways of solution and Environment Management Plan were discussed at the meeting. The Company representative presented to the audience detailed information on the aforementioned project, its significance and potential positive outcomes.
Representatives of United Amelioration Systems Company of Georgia, Ministry of Agriculture, local self-governing institutions, farmers and local population attended the meeting.
Rehabilitation of Tbisi-Kumisi irrigation scheme will be implemented within the framework of the World Bank “Irrigation and Land Market Development Project”.
